A. CHARGE FOR SERVICES SELECTED

Professional Services:

$1,315.00

Funeral counseling, compiling biographical information, securing & filing required permits, forms and claims; preparation of final disposition and 24 hours attention to details. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremation, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

Embalming:

$725.00

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing or visitation. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement which does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial

Other Preparation of Remains:	$160.00
This includes dressing & applying cosmetics. Cleansing and disinfecting the remains is required in all cases as a safeguard to the health of our staff.

Our charge for this service includes transfer of remains to the funeral home, basic services of the funeral director, staff and overhead, dressing and casketing the remains, and transfer to the cemetery. This charge does not include embalming, cosmetizing, viewing, ceremony or graveside service, or any additional merchandise such as an outer burial container which may be required. If you want to arrange a direct cremation you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are made of fiber board.
