Monica Jean Wilson, 60, wife of Robert Paul Bolter, Jr., of Summerville, SC, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Parks Funeral Home from 11 am – 12 pm. Burial will be held at a later date at Bourne National Cemetery in Massachusetts. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Sinbad Sadie, Second Chance Rescue, 10070 Dorchester Rd, Summerville, SC 29485, or www.sinbadsadie.org.
Monica was born on May 31, 1957 in Boston, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Forrest Joseph Wilson and the late Kathryn Florence Cornelius Wilson. She was a self-employed entrepreneur.
Survivors include her husband, Robert “Bob” Bolter, Jr. of Summerville; two sisters, Jennifer Wilson and Kathryn Barry; several nieces and nephews, including Melanie, Rodriguez and William Barry, Jr.; uncle, Robert Cornelius; and a sister-in-law, Laura Gardiner and brother-in-law Bryan Gardiner.

Monica had a heart of gold and the voice of an angel! She could light up a room with her laughter and she was a true friend that will be missed! I know she will watch over all of her family and friends always and will also keep an eye on our loved ones that have departed. God bless her family and friends and may they always know that she was loved by all!

Monica has always been an uplifting friend to many and will be greatly missed...so glad we got to some time in her life. Monzy..sing loud and strong and rock the clouds in heaven!!!!
