Thom loved his chosen profession as an insurance claims adjuster for 60 years. As a business owner, he offered many in that business gainful employment. For 22 years, Thom and his son Thomas worked together in Summerville. He was a tremendous tennis player and as all things in his life, a competitor. Much of his time was spent raising his 3 sons with Betty, his wife of 61 years. An unselfish man, he gave his time and talents to anyone who asked. Thom will be missed as a citizen and family man.
Thom Nolan loved his family, his wife and 3 sons, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth T. Nolan; 2 sons, Steven T. Nolan (Kendra) of Saint George, UT, Thomas S. Nolan (Teresa) of Summerville; 2 daughters-in-law, Linda Nolan of Atlanta, GA, Kelly Nolan, of Anaheim, CA; sister, Margaret Passero of Spring Hill, FL. He was preceded in death by his son, John W. Nolan and brother, John F. Nolan.
Arrangements by PARKS FUNERAL HOME, 130 W. 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483.

Celebrating the life of Thomas F. Nolan
Thank you for signing Thomas F. Nolan's Guestbook
My condolences to the Nolan family. I pray God comforts the family during this time of bereavement. May the many cherished and loving memories of Thomas comfort his family and friends. A comforting thought to keep in mind is at Psalm 147:3 "He (God) heals the brokenhearted; he binds up their wounds." The family is in my prayers.
